We are two budget backpackers on the road exploring less-visited destinations and hunting down all the best local vegetarian food. Leaving our jobs in the UK in April 2022, we headed off into the unknown with a one-way ticket to Sarajevo, and we’ve been playing it by ear since then!
Our first backpacking trip began in 2015 and lasted eight months while we explored India, Myanmar, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines and Hong Kong.
We then came back home to do the ‘grown up’ thing: get a job. However, the travel bug remained.
We went on lots of city break weekend trips – the type where you fly out Friday evening and fly back Monday morning just in time for work – and maximised our annual leave to fit in longer adventures to Guatemala, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Japan, Sri Lanka.

Six years after returning from our first backpacking trip, we decided that we had to go again.
This time, we have been documenting it as we go, focusing on budget travel through traditional vegetarian food, public transport, local guesthouses, and less-explored locations. You’ll find our carefully curated guides to showcase these beautiful parts of the world, and convince you to go there too.
We have travelled Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central, South and South East Asia. And our next adventure is through South and Central America.
