Hey! We are Sam and Chris.

Hey! We’re Sam and Chris, a couple of wandering souls. We had our first budget backpacking trip in 2015 for eight months, came back home and tried the classic UK corporate life, but quickly realised that the road was still calling! We saved up for what seemed like an eternity with those itchy feet, and decided to take the jump in April 2022. Unemployment registered, we bought a one-way ticket to Sarajevo and spent the next two years wandering through Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Asia.

After a two month stint back at home to catch up with friends and family, and do some tedious life admin, we hopped back on another plane, but this time to South America.

We’re all about budget travel (taking that bumpy, sweaty 8 hour bus ride and staying in local guesthouses), exploring vegetarian food options (street food, traditional dishes, or just instant noodles back at the room), and exploring destinations that are less-known or less-visited (we like to wander the opposite way to the crowds!).
