Elephants, Beaches, and Egg Hoppers

This is a country that has a piece of hearts. We’ve visited four times and will always be going back for more (and for the dal, hoppers and pol sambol!).

Many people just head to Sri Lanka to sit on the beaches in the south, and that is such a HUGE mistake!

Don’t miss the hill country; see the tea plantations and the historic sites of the cultural triangle.

Go on safari, eat all the egg hoppers and rice and curry you can find, go hiking, relax on a yoga retreat.

Sri Lanka has so much to do that the standard 30 day-visa allowance is just not enough time to see it all, so I guarantee that you’ll be planning your return trip before you even leave this beautiful island.
